About Me

I began writing this collection of recipes whilst in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, undergoing tests for my liver transplant.

The Possum-Bride had been bringing my food in to me (hospital food being inedible) for some time, I had nothing to do in hospital and the Possum-Bride wanted me to write down recipes for her favourite dishes (and mine!).

At first, the recipes were hand-written in a notebook, but I soon began to transfer them to an electronic format. I started twenty-one years ago and it’s led to a food blog, a book, and a bunch of other stuff.
